Cass works from a poststructural, anti-colonial framework. They have studied Narrative and Contemporary Analysis and uses a unique blend of the two approaches. When not working as a counselor, they teach for Edmonds College. When not working at all, they enjoy quilting, hiking, reading, spending time with cats, and exploring breweries.

It can be difficult to find a counselor that accepts you on every level. That is exactly what I strive to do. I hold a no-judgment approach and openly discuss issues such as sexuality, gender, traumatic situations, substance use, suicidality, self harm, kink, social inequality, and non-normative relationships. It is my perspective that the purpose of counseling is to help you find the best way to write your own story, not to write a life story that conforms to what others think you should be. I bring the insight of being neurodivergent and non-normative myself. As a narrative therapist I firmly stand by the statement "The person is not the problem, the problem is the problem". That provides freedom to make mistakes on the way to writing your story, your way. It is my roll to provide a safe place to discuss that journey, make hard choices, and show you that you are supported. You are the captain of your ship I, at most, play the role of a lighthouse.

I work from a collaborative, affirming, and trauma-informed approach that values people’s lived experiences and the meaning they make of their stories. I am passionate about supporting people navigating neurodiversity, gender diversity, cultural identity, chronic illness, and experiences of feeling misunderstood or marginalized. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, respect, and attention to the cultural, relational, and systemic contexts that shape each person’s life.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy watching documentaries, relaxing with panda live cams, and spending quiet time with family.

Do you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you have been carrying too much on your own? You may be dealing with anxiety, burnout, or relationship stress, finding yourself overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, or caught in patterns that are hard to change. You do not have to figure this out alone. My approach is trauma-informed and insight-oriented. Together, we explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped your story so you can gain clarity, shift what feels stuck, and move forward with greater intention and self-trust. Our work is collaborative and focused on meaningful, lasting change.

Many of the people I work with have felt different, misunderstood, or unseen. This can include navigating identity, neurodiversity, cultural expectations, or chronic stress and health challenges.

My path into counseling has been shaped by a deep appreciation for people’s stories, resilience, and capacity for growth. I approach therapy from a person-centered, relational, and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that our experiences, relationships, culture, and environments all shape the way we move through the world. I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, understood, and supported as they navigate life transitions, identity development, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and relationship challenges.
I view counseling as a collaborative process grounded in empathy, curiosity, and authenticity. As both a clinician and lifelong learner, I believe healing often begins through meaningful connection, reflection, and feeling less alone in our experiences.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, being outdoors with my dog, and finding a great cup of coffee or local brewery while traveling.

Beginning counseling is a deeply human step, and I recognize the courage it can take to let another person into the parts of life that feel painful, overwhelming, or uncertain. It is not always easy to human, especially while carrying stress, grief, trauma, identity questions, relationship challenges, or the pressure of trying to hold everything together. My hope is to create a space where clients feel welcomed, accepted, emotionally safe, and able to show up fully as themselves without fear of judgment.
I approach counseling from a person-centered, relational, and trauma-informed lens. I believe people deserve to be understood within the context of their lived experiences, relationships, culture, and environments, rather than reduced to symptoms or diagnoses alone. Therapy is not about becoming someone different or fitting into someone else’s expectations. Instead, it can be a space to better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths and values, and make sense of your story in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
As your counselor, I see my role as walking alongside you with curiosity, empathy, and compassion while helping you recognize the resilience and strengths you may not always see in yourself. There is something powerful about being genuinely witnessed in our experiences, especially the difficult ones, and I believe healing often begins there.

My path to becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line, and honestly, that's one of my favorite things about it. I spent years in the corporate tech world, leading teams and navigating the fast-paced demands of an industry that rarely slows down. But somewhere in the middle of all that, I kept finding myself most alive in the human moments: the conversations that went deeper than deadlines, the stories and challenges people carried, the quiet resilience I witnessed every day. Those moments didn't just move me; they redirected me.
So, I made the leap into a helping profession.
I bring an integrative approach to my work, weaving together the power of storytelling, your own strengths and solutions, and thoughtful reflection to help you make sense of where you've been and where you want to go. Outside of our sessions, you'll find me with a camera in hand, exploring wild places, painting by number, or simply enjoying time with the people and dog I love. I believe in the richness of a life fully lived, and I'd love to help you find yours.

Reaching out takes courage, and I don't take it lightly that you're here. With me, you won't have to edit yourself or wonder if your story is too much. Whatever you're carrying — past experiences, self-doubt, relationship strain, questions about who you are or what you want to do with your life — bring it. The hard stuff, the messy stuff, the things you haven't said out loud yet. No judgment, no agenda, just compassion and genuine curiosity about you and where you want to go. I believe you're the expert of your own life, and my role is to sit alongside you, help you reconnect with your strengths and values, and work together to rewrite the narrative that no longer serves you.
We'll move at your pace, toward the outcome you actually want.
We can meet virtually from wherever you're most comfortable, or if you're in Orange County and you'd rather have fresh air and open sky, I'm more than happy to meet you outside — a walk through the trees, a gentle hike, a stroll along the beach. Sometimes the best conversations happen when you're moving.

To have the privilege to work as a therapist is not one I take lightly. I have come into this career with an educational background in psychology and philosophy. I have training in relational psychodynamic and narrative therapy orientations. I care very deeply and this work is highly personal to me. I would not be where I am today without my own experiences in therapy. In my free time I am listening to pop music, thrifting, reading memoirs/fantasy novels and collaging.
